Eric Fleming named a 2026 Ultimate Tech Leader by the Jacksonville Business Journal
NewMile's team gathered in Jacksonville to celebrate CTO Eric Fleming, one of 12 Ultimate Tech Leader honorees recognized across Northeast Florida.

Yesterday in Jacksonville, FL, our team gathered for a moment that belonged on the calendar for the right reasons. We celebrated our CTO, Eric Fleming, as he received his 2026 Ultimate Tech Leader award from the Jacksonville Business Journal.
Eric is one of just 12 honorees recognized across Northeast Florida. The award recognizes leaders who shape what comes next in technology. For us, that description fits how Eric shows up every week: bold ideas translated into meaningful progress for our team and for the aggregate distribution industry.
We’re proud to work alongside you, Eric. Congratulations.

Moments like this belong to the whole company as much as to one person. The award sits with Eric; the work that earned it is visible across product, engineering, and the customers who trust NewMile with their deliveries.
Why this recognition matters
Tech leadership titles are common. What is less common is a leader who keeps product, engineering, and the customer reality in the same frame - especially in an industry built on loads, tickets, trucks, and getting paid for work that already happened in the field.
Eric has been central to how NewMile grows that way. He pushes for clear priorities, honest tradeoffs, and progress the team can stand behind. The Jacksonville Business Journal honor is a public nod to that kind of leadership. For the people who build with him, it is also a chance to say thank you out loud.
Building the whole picture in aggregate distribution
NewMile is an aggregate delivery platform. We connect orders, loads, tickets, invoices, and payments so contractors, haulers, and suppliers can look at the same work from field to finance instead of piecing the job together after the fact.
One Platform. The Whole Picture.
That promise only holds if the product keeps getting better and the team stays pointed at real jobsite problems. Eric’s work as CTO is a big part of how we protect that bar - not as a slogan, but as the daily craft of shipping software the industry can trust.
A note from the team
Celebrations like this are short. The work continues. Still, pausing to mark a leader who shapes what is next for NewMile - and for Northeast Florida’s tech community - is worth doing well.
